FarLight High Definition Lighting Concept is an approach to lighting system design based on precise evaluation of component interaction and performance in order to maximize system efficiency. This approach requires three basic steps:
- choice of appropriate light source
- evaluation of required luminuous intensity distribution as a function of horizontal and vertical angles; and
- design of secondary optics (light transformer) that will transform specific light distribution emitted by selected light source exactly into required pattern with minimum losses.
