FarLight's High Definition Lighting concept is an approach to lighting-system design based on the precise evaluation of component interaction and performance in order to maximize system efficiency. This approach requires three basic steps:
- The choice of appropriate light source
- Evaluation of required luminuous intensity distribution as a function of horizontal and vertical angles; and
- Design of secondary optics (light transformer) that will transform specific light distribution emitted by selected light source exactly into required pattern with minimum losses.
